Patient’s Responsibilities

Involvement and efforts in vitiligo treatment is  similar to a 20:80 formula. The doctor is like a coach and clinic staff like support staff. The patient is the player. The doctor can advise, show the way and do interventions, but the patient has to play and put efforts. Our team ensures that the patient follows the instructions, complies with the treatment and attends the follow-ups. We cannot perform miracles or magic. If the patient does not follow the instructions, report the progress or side effects, and comply with the treatment and follow-ups, we cannot help them get good results. The doctor and his team’s role is 20% and the patient and family’s role is 80%.
